Crossing guard assaulted in Darby; police looking for suspects
Police in Darby Borough in Delaware County are looking for the person who assaulted a school crossing guard on Monday afternoon.
According to police, the incident happened at around 3:50 p.m. at the intersection of S. 6th and Walnut streets.
“A crossing guard, who works daily to keep our children and neighbors safe, was assaulted at this location,” the Darby Borough Police Department said on social media.
The identity of the crossing guard and the extent of their injuries were not released.
