Suspect sought after man shot during argument at Pembroke Park bar, police say
Authorities are searching for the person who shot a man during an argument at a Pembroke Park bar late Monday.
Pembroke Park Police said the shooting happened at Thirsty’s Liquor Bar at 4426 West Hallandale Beach Boulevard. They responded to the scene and found a man suffering from gunshot wounds outside the bar.
“The victim was conscious and transported by BSO Fire Rescue as a trauma alert to Memorial Regional Hospital,” police said. “He is currently in stable condition.”
A preliminary investigation revealed that the incident began with an argument inside the bar.
Police said the suspect took out a handgun and fired multiple shots, striking the victim. The suspect then fled the scene eastbound on West Hallandale Beach Boulevard in a silver SUV with an unknown tag.
The suspect was wearing a light colored shirt, pants and a hat, police said.
