We know who Eagles will face in divisional round if they advance
The Eagles have to take care of business on Sunday, but we now know who they will face in the divisional round if they advance.
If the No. 3-seeded Eagles are able to beat the No. 6-seeded 49ers on Sunday, they will travel to face the Bears at Soldier Field next weekend.
On Saturday, the No. 5-seeded Rams beat the No. 4-seeded Panthers 34-31 and then No. 2-seeded Bears beat the No. 7-seeded Packers 31-27. That means that if the Eagles beat the 49ers on Sunday, the Rams will travel to Seattle to face the top-seeded Seahawks, while the Eagles will head to Chicago to face the Bears.
Of course, this is all obviously dependent on the Eagles beating the 49ers on Sunday afternoon at the Linc.
The Bears on Sunday were down 21-3 to the Packers at halftime but were able to come from behind and beat their NFC North rival at Soldier Field to advance to the divisional round.
The Eagles lost the Bears in Week 13 at the Linc, when the Bears rushed for 281 yards against Vic Fangio’s defense in a 24-15 win. That is by far the most rushing yards the Eagles have given up this season.
Entering Sunday’s game against the 49ers, the Eagles are 6-point favorites.
