Philly foodies! Pick the next chip flavors with Herr's ‘Taste the 250' contest
Herr’s iconic Flavored by Philly campaign is back, and this year, the beloved Pennsylvania-founded snack brand is making snack history.
In celebration of America’s 250th birthday, Herr’s is honoring the flavors of freedom, liberty, and unity that define both Philadelphia and the nation with “Flavored by Philly: Taste the 250.”
Over the last few years, Herr’s has included Philadelphians in shaping its most mouthwatering chip flavors, from iconic cheesesteaks to roast pork and tomato pie. Now, the brand is once again putting the power in the taste buds of its hometown foodies.
Organizers said this year’s Flavored by Philly comes with a twist. Instead of submitting new flavor ideas, fans will select their top pick from a curated lineup of flavors.
You must pick the flavor that “best embodies the heart of the American story.”
“Philadelphia has always been at the heart of Herr’s story,” said Ed Herr, Executive Chairman of the Board. “Flavored by Philly: Taste the 250 is our way of honoring the city that continues to inspire our flavors and our fans.”
Here’s how to cast your vote
Organizers said Philadelphians can cast their votes online at Herrsflavoredbyphilly.com from November 12 to December 10, 2025.

The top three chip flavors, which will be chosen by popular vote, will hit shelves in June 2026.
