One person hospitalized after early morning house fire in Wilmington, Del.
One person was hospitalized after fire crews worked during, what officials called ‘the height’ of Sunday’s snow storm, a fire that tore through a home in Wilmington, Del. on Sunday.
According to officials, early Sunday — though, officials did not immediately provide an exact time that the fire erupted — crews were dispatched to the 400 block of Eastlawn Avenue in Wilmington, Del., to find heavy fire pouring from the second floor and a two-story home.
Crews, officials said, began an “aggressive interior attack” on the fire as other firefighters found heavy smoke conditions are adjoining residences.
One resident, officials said, was hospitalized for evaluation during this incident. However, no firefighters were injured during the response to this incident, officials said.
Officials did not detail what may have caused this fire, but they said, an investigation on the incident is underway.
