NJ Transit reveals plans to return to normal operations Monday after snow storm
After suspending all service on Sunday, Jan. 25 because of the winter storm, NJ Transit is planning to resume operations for commuters on Monday.
The transit agency announced that it plans to roll out service in a phased way starting with the light rail lines.
All three light rail lines: Newark Light Rail, Hudson-Bergen Light Rail, and River LINE will start Monday morning on a normal weekday schedule but delays and cancellations are still possible.
Then, later on in the morning or afternoon, bus and Access Link services should slowly come back to normal as crews assess safety on the roads.
Throughout the overnight hours and into the early morning, crews will be working to make sure that all rail stations and systems are safe to return to normal.
Riders should check NJ Transit’s website and mobile app to stay up to date on their trip.
