Brother, sister hurt in double shooting in West Philly, police say

A man and a woman — who are brother and sister — were shot in the Mantua neighborhood of West Philadelphia on Monday evening, police said.
Officials said the shooting occurred at the 3800 block of Fairmount Avenue at around 6:29 p.m.
The man was taken to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds and is listed in critical condition, police said.
The woman was shot once on her left side and is at the hospital in stable condition, police said.

No arrests have been made and no motives have been determined, but the Philadelphia Police Department’s Shooting Investigation Group is investigating, police said.
