Bar fight leads to triple shooting in Philadelphia's West Oak Lane neighborhood
Police are investigating after they said a bar fight ended with three people being shot in Philadelphia’s West Oak Lane neighborhood.
According to the Philadelphia Police Department, officers responded to the Moonlight Lounge, 600 block of Limekiln Pike, at around 11:46 p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025, after receiving reports of a person with a gun.
Police said when officers arrived on scene, they found evidence of gunfire, including fired cartridge casings and projectiles, as well as a 54-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The man was taken to an area hospital, where police said he underwent surgery and remains in critical condition.
Police said that while the officers were at the hospital, a silver Mazda SUV arrived carrying two additional shooting victims. A 35-year-old man had sustained a gunshot wound to the hip, and a 22-year-old man was shot in the right hand.
The 22-year-old man had driven them both to the hospital, police shared. The 35-year-old man underwent surgery and his condition is unknown at this time.
According to police, preliminary information suggests that a fight happened inside the bar prior to the shooting involving several unidentified individuals.
Police said one firearm was recovered and the investigation remains ongoing.
