5 people hospitalized after shooting in Wilmington, Del., Friday night

Police are investigating after they said five people were shot in Wilmington, Delaware, on Friday night.

According to the Wilmington Police Department, the shooting happened just after 10 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, on the 400 block of East 4th Street.

Police said when officers got to the scene, they found five gunshot victims. A 35-year-old woman, a 28-year-old woman, a 40-year-old man, a 56-year-old man and a 60-year-old man were all transported to the hospital in stable condition.

Skyforce10 was over the scene where officers could be seen with the road blocked off with yellow tape.

The scene extended about two blocks, and police could be seen standing near several shell casings on the ground.

This shooting happened just steps away from a police headquarters building in a residential area that has some businesses around.

Police said this incident remains under investigation.
