1 dead after car loses control in Bucks County on Sunday night, police say
A person was killed after they lost control of their car in Bucks County and crashed into another car going the opposite way on Sunday evening, police said.
The crash happened at around 6:05 p.m. along Veteran’s Highway near the Hong Luck restaurant in Levittown, police from Middletown Township said.
After an initial investigation, police said that a white Genesis GV80 was traveling southbound along the highway when it lost control and entered the northbound lanes.
The Genesis then crashed into a Range Rover that was traveling northbound, causing the Genesis to flip onto its roof, police said.
The driver of the Genesis, who has not yet been publicly identified, was pronounced dead after the crash. However, the driver and passenger of the Range Rover remained on the scene and they are cooperating with the investigation, police said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation and Middletown Township police are asking anyone with useful information or video of the incident to call Officer Matt Balint at 215-750-3845 (ext. 4114).
