What we saw at Detroit’s Marche du Nain Rouge 2026
On Sunday, March 22, metro Detroiters celebrated the arrival of spring with the annual Marche du Nain Rouge. A tradition since 2010, the New Orleans-style parade is based on the legend of the Nain Rouge, a figure from Detroit folklore said to be a harbinger of doom.
