Video shows aftermath of SUV crashing into car wash in Flagami
Video shows police responding after an SUV crashed into a car wash in Flagami on Friday morning.
It happened around 7:30 a.m. at the Shell gas station on South Le Jeune Road at Northwest 6th Street, near Miami International Airport, authorities said.
Video shows a damaged Chevrolet SUV in the middle of the car wash after it apparently ran through a fence and into the structure.
In the footage, first responders can be seen standing behind police tape. Video also shows an ambulance at the scene.
“At the time there were no injuries and [City of Miami Unsafe Structures Division] was contacted,” Miami Fire Rescue Lt. Pete Sanchez said. “After some time, the driver suffered a medical emergency and taken to the hospital for further evaluation.”
No other injuries were reported.
