Officers were called to East Prospect Street at 11:17 p.m. Friday, where they found a 17- and 15-year-old suffering from gunshot wounds, according to the Chula Vista Police Department.
Officers administered life-saving measures until both victims were rushed to UC San Diego Medical Center, according to police. They were both pronounced dead at the hospital.
The family of the 15-year-old identified the teen as Kane Roldan. On Monday, CVPD identified the 17-year-old as Elias “Eli” Yanez.
