Trump and Xi concur on need to reopen Strait of Hormuz, White House says
Chinese President Xi Jinping told President Trump on Thursday he wants to see the Strait of Hormuz reopen without tolls or military control as tensions reignited within the Middle East chokepoint that carries a fifth of the world's oil supply.
