Suspects make off with over $10K in cash after robbing Philadelphia store: Police

Philadelphia police are looking for three suspects who allegedly robbed a store at knifepoint, escaping with over $10,000 in cash.

According to police, on Feb. 22, 2026, officers received a report that the Christian Express located at 5233 N. 5th St was robbed by three men.

Police said an employee who reported the robbery explained that two out of the three men entered the store at 4:08 p.m. and immediately went behind her counter and robbed her at knifepoint. She said they made off with more than $10,000 in cash.

The employee and her coworkers recalled that two of the suspects had visited the store earlier that day and purchased items, but were wearing different clothing.

Police revealed that these three men may also be linked to another robbery that took place just last month.

Investigators describe the first suspect as a man of slim build with black hair. He was last seen wearing a reversible “Cali” hooded sweatshirt.

The second suspect is described as a man of medium build. He was last seen wearing glasses, a black puffy jacket and pants.

The third suspect is described as a man, tall with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with “members only” on the lower back and “rip cage and spine” on the front.
