New surveillance video shows the moments before a man was shot and killed outside of his Hialeah home Wednesday morning.

Hialeah Police officials said they received calls at 6:18 a.m. from people who said they heard up to 10 shots in the area of West 19th Avenue and West 56th Street, near the entrance to an apartment complex.

Once they responded, officers found the man’s body. According to an arrest report, officers found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso and a puddle of blood with 11 spent casings nearby.

Aerial footage from Chopper 6 showed the body covered by a yellow tarp on a sidewalk.

Police are searching for a subject after a man was found dead in Hialeah on Wednesday, authorities said.

In video posted by Only in Dade, the victim can be seen walking on the sidewalk as the suspect, identified by authorities as 37-year-old Dairon Rosas Delgado, trails behind him.

The suspect then appears to pull out his gun, opening fire in the victim’s direction. Authorities say Delgado fled the scene after the shooting.

In the arrest report, investigators said surveillance video shows the suspect walking behind the victim and shooting at him several times, striking him in the torso, before walking back into the building.

He is then seen fleeing the scene with a woman in a black SUV, the report said.

In recently obtained 911 calls, a caller told the operator that she heard around 10 gunshots.

“He just started shooting out of nowhere,” she says. “He walked in; there was a woman screaming. I think he grabbed her.”

A large law enforcement presence led to his arrest while he was driving in the area of West 4th Avenue and West 18th Street in Hialeah.

According to the arrest report, his mother told police she had witnessed the incident. Investigators later found a firearm in a black fanny pack in the glove compartment of the vehicle.

Delgado is charged with second-degree murder with a weapon.

The victim’s identity wasn’t released, but relatives identified him as Dick Estrada, a husband and father of two.

A woman who said Estrada was her cousin’s husband was on his way to work when he was shot.

“My cousin is a man who came here to work, to support his family,” said the woman, who wanted to be identified as Adelkis.

She said his wife realized something was wrong when his car was still parked out front — and he wasn’t answering his phone.

“I’m hurting because I care about my cousin. My cousin is like a sister,” she said.

A motive behind the shooting remains under investigation.
