Sports San Diego reveals NCAA teams set to play in 2026 Rady Children's Invitational
Sports San Diego Thursday announced the field for the 2026 Rady Children’s Invitational, with the 2025 edition just weeks away.
UCLA, Georgetown, Texas and Saint Mary’s College will compete in the fourth annual two-day college tournament scheduled for Thanksgiving next year.
“The 2026 Rady Children’s Invitational lineup is a total showstopper,” said Mark Neville, CEO of Sports San Diego, the regional sports commission tasked with organizing the Holiday Bowl and other events. “San Diego will be buzzing with energy as fans from across the country travel here for the tournament.
“We’re thrilled to welcome them, along with our loyal local supporters who have helped to make this tournament a sellout in each of its first two years. Tickets are selling quickly again this year, and we can already feel the excitement building across the city.”
University of San Diego will host the tournament in its Jenny Craig Pavilion on Nov. 26-27, 2026. Each day will feature two games, with the championship and third-place matchups on Nov. 27.
The 2025 event takes place Nov. 27-28 with defending NCAA Champions Florida, Providence, TCU and Wisconsin. Past tournament winners include Oklahoma (2023) and Purdue (2024).
Tip-off times for the 2026 event will be announced at a later date.
Tickets are on sale now for the 2025 tournament at www.RadyChildrensInvitational.com. For every ticket sold, $5 will be donated to Rady Children’s Hospital – San Diego.
