It has been a jam packed few days with so many exciting victories for Team USA. Follow the medal count here.
Today, Chloe Kim cruised to finals in the women’s snowboard halfpipe qualifications. Maddie Mastro and Bea Kim also punched their tickets to finals.
And figure skating is back with free dance! The Olympic gold favorites, Madison Chock and Evan Bates, have some ground to make up in the ice dance competition since they’re trailing behind France’s Laurence Fournier Beaudry and Guillaume Cizeron.
In speed skating, world record-holder Jordan Stolz will make his Milan Cortina debut in the men’s 1000m at 12:30 p.m. ET. He’s a favorite for the gold.
Men’s hockey at the 2026 Milan Cortina Games also kicks off today, with the U.S. and Canada in action tomorrow.
Plus – I’ll tell you later today about a tradition at the Olympic games that is centuries old: some people dedicate a lifetime to be able to trade pins with people from around the world.
Ciao for now, and thanks for keeping up with NBC6 in Milan!
