Shooting in Fort Lauderdale leaves 16-year-old hospitalized: Police
Police are investigating a shooting in Fort Lauderdale that left a 16-year-old hospitalized Monday morning.
Officers responded to the shooting around 10:30 a.m. in the 1800 block of State Road 84 just east of Interstate 95, Fort Lauderdale Police officials said.
The officers found the teen suffering from a gunshot wound. They were taken to Broward General Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, officials said.
Detectives are investigating what led to the shooting.
