SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- San Diego FC will play host to the Portland Timbers at Snapdragon Stadium on Sunday for Game 1 of Round 1 of the 2025 MLS Cup Playoffs, marking the expansion club's first-ever playoff match.

And what better way to kick off a postseason debut than to do so in front of a sold-out crowd in SoCal?

It was announced Saturday that tickets for the historic match today at 6:30 p.m. are officially sold out, as more than 30,000 fans are expected to pack Snapdragon Stadium to watch Midfielder Jeppe Tverskov, the captain of the squad, and company take on Portland.
