San Diego weather: Warming continues Monday, cooler temperaures, rain chance this week

Morning lows are in the 30s, mid-40s, and low 50s this morning, but this afternoon we will once again have above-average temperatures.

High pressure over the west and weak offshore flow will keep San Diego warm again today, but cooler temperatures are expected by the end of the week.

Temperatures will be noticeably cooler by Thursday as a low-pressure system moves in from the west towards Southern California. This will have some moisture associated with it, so there is a rain chance back in the forecast Thursday – Saturday. The chances are currently below 25%. However, there’s still high uncertainty on this part of the forecast; it all depends on the exact track that it will take. Stay tuned!
