San Diego weather: Scattered light showers possible through Saturday

Light, scattered rain moved through the area Thursday night and early Friday morning. As of 5 a.m. Friday, most rainfall totals were around or below 0.10”, but we will likely see these totals just slightly increase as we go into Saturday.

Our weather pattern remains unsettled through Saturday, so early shower chances will remain in Saturday’s forecast. Afternoon showers may continue for the mountains, though.

Additional rainfall accumulations for the coast and valley communities could be between 0.10″ and 0.25″ over the course of the next 3 days, with mountains possibly seeing over 0.50″.

We dry out on Sunday with warmer daytime highs. So far, next week looks drier and pleasant.

FRIDAY

  • Coast: cloudy, chance showers – mid 60s
  • Valleys: cloudy, chance showers – mid to upper 60s
  • Mountains: cloudy, chance showers – low 50s
  • Deserts: cloudy, chance showers – low 70
