San Diego weather: Hot & dry, then cooling for Halloween
Today will be the hottest day of the week as our Santa Ana conditions continue across the county. Temperatures will be around 15 degrees above normal today with an elevated fire threat. The HEAT ADVISORY inland will expire at 7pm tonight.
Santa Ana conditions will subside on Thursday but it will still be hot. By Friday, our onshore flow will start to develop again, cooling us down.
Halloween will be much more comfortable across the county with cooler daytime highs and pleasant evening temperatures for trick-or-treaters.
The weekend will be pleasant with possible fog each morning. Expect a cooling trend next week.
