San Diego weather: Drier, and a little warmer

The additional rain we had overnight has moved out. We’ll be dry for at least the next couple of days before a slight shower chance later this week.

Temperatures will be a little cooler overnight with plenty of inland areas dipping into the mid 40s.  Tuesday will be mostly sunny. Daytime temperatures will be slightly warmer on Tuesday but remain near to slightly below normal through at least the middle part of the week.

A storm system passing to our south could bring another chance of rain Wednesday night, but for now confidence remains low and the forecast stays dry. If confidence increases, the forecast will be adjusted. Otherwise, expect a generally pleasant week, with warmer temperatures by Friday.

The weekend is looking warmer and drier.

Monday

  • Coast: turning mostly sunny – upper 60s
  • Inland: turning mostly sunny – low to mid 70s
  • Mountains: sunny – mid 60s
  • Deserts: Sunny – mid 80s
