San Diego weather: Dense fog in the morning, warming trend this week

Dense fog has returned this morning across much of the county. This will be the case for the next several mornings. Make sure to drive slower in the fog, have the low beams on and keep your distance. Fog will lift and clear later this morning. Expect mostly sunny skies today and a nice afternoon. High temperatures will still be warmer than normal for this time of the year.

We will have a gradual warming trend this week as our offshore flow continues. The end of the week will be the warmest. Dry conditions will continue as well with fog moving in at night. Multiple storms will impact the Pacific Northwest all week.

We stay dry this weekend with a cooling trend as our onshore flow returns. By this weekend, all eyes will be on a larger storm system that could impact the entire West coast next week, which could mean rain for us by Christmas Eve. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer. . .
