San Diego Weather: Another warm-up on the way
We are in for a warmup. Starting Wednesday, high pressure expanding east from over the pacific will start to increase temperatures. Wednesday will be about 5 to 10 degrees warmer.
The much bigger jump in temperatures is coming Thursday. By Thursday and Friday, temperatures are likely to break daily records. Inland areas could get into the mid-90s, while the coast should be well into the 80s. A HEAT ADVISORY will be in effect for the Coast and Valleys from 10am Thursday through 8pm Friday.
For the weekend, weak onshore flow returns, which will help cool us down a little, but it’s still going to be warm. And then, next week temperatures jump right back up again with more potential record heat.
WEDNESDAY
- Coast: clouds to sun – upper 60s
- Inland: clouds to sun – low 70s
- Mountains: mostly sunny – highs near 60
- Deserts: mostly sunny – low 80s
