San Diego weather: Another warm day before we cool down

Our weak Santa Ana continues today with gusts near 25-30mph in the mountains. It will be another unseasonably warm afternoon for the coast and inland valleys. High temperatures will be around 10-15 degrees above normal. Sunny, dry weather will keep our fire threat elevated.

After today our offshore flow begins to weaken, allowing temperatures to gradually cool down. This will continue through the weekend with temperatures getting closer to normal for this time of the year. The weekend will feel a little more like a San Diego Fall.

More clouds will move into the area Saturday, but we stay dry. We could see patchy fog in the morning.

All storm systems will remain far to our North over the weekend, then as high pressure moves East next week, rain will move into Northern California. We still stay dry here though. . .
