San Diego Unified moves to rename Cesar Chavez Elementary amid abuse allegations
The San Diego Unified School Board voted unanimously to begin the renaming process of several locations that bear the name of labor leader Cesar Chavez following serious allegations of sexual assault, and will begin selecting a new namesake with input from the community.
