San Diego County District Attorney calls on state to end resentencing ‘loophole’
San Diego County District Attorney Summer Stephan, Assemblymember Darshana Patel, and El Cajon City Councilmember Phil Ortiz are pushing for Assembly Bill 1959, which would allow courts to determine if defendants should be resentenced in juvenile or adult court, to pass in California.
