Rainfall totals: How much rain did San Diego County get during recent storm?

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- The rain isn't done passing through Southern California just yet, but Tuesday's storm brought some much needed moisture to San Diego County.
The National Weather Service released Tuesday's rainfall totals as of 11:00 p.m.

The county's mountains saw the most precipitation on Tuesday with more than an inch of rain reported in Descanso, Julian, Pine Hills, Palomar, Birch Hill and Lake Cuyamaca. The Palomar Observatory station recorded 1.86" of rain followed by Lake Cuyamaca with 1.77" and Palomar Mountain with 1.75".
The areas along San Diego County's coastal communities that received the most rain on Tuesday were San Onofre with 0.6 of an inch, followed by Oceanside (0.48"), Kearny Mesa (0.47"), Vista (0.46") and Miramar (0.46"), all with about half an inch.
Meanwhile, some parts of San Diego County's valleys got more than inch of rain. Otay Mountain recorded 1.74" of rain at 3,283 feet of elevation and Rainbow Camp got 1.08" at 1,553 feet, according to NWS data.
The San Felipe station in San Diego County's deserts recorded very little rain with 0.01" at 2,280 feet of elevation.
