Police investigating after 2-month-old boy dies in incident at Kensington home
Police have launched an investigation following the death of a two-month-old boy who died early Monday, officials said.
According to police, the investigation began after a two-month-old boy was taken to a Philadelphia hospital at about 1:54 a.m. after, what officials said was, “an incident” at a home located along the 2000 block of East Birch Street in Philadelphia’s Kensington neighborhood.
The child, officials said, was pronounced at the hospital at 2:34 a.m.
Investigators did not immediately provide further details surrounding the child’s death and no suspects or charges have yet been announced in this incident.
However, police said an investigation is underway.
