Police investigate after woman found dead in City Heights hotel room
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A 22-year-old woman was found dead Monday inside a hotel room in the Talmadge neighborhood, authorities said.
Around 9:54 p.m., authorities received a call about an unresponsive woman who appeared dead inside a room at the La Cresta Hotel located at 4980 El Cajon Blvd, the San Diego Police Department said in a news release Tuesday.
When authorities arrived, they found the woman with trauma to her upper body. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Homicide detectives are investigating the incident due to the woman's injuries.
The woman's identity is being withheld pending family notifications.
