Philly courts to open late due to recent snow
A weekend snowstorm is having an impact on more than just school start times in the Philadelphia area.
On Monday morning, officials announced that the Philadelphia courts would open two hours later than usual, as well.
In a statement released Monday morning, officials said due to this delay, all cases and hearings would be held two hours after their originally scheduled times.
This also impacts anyone who is scheduled for jury duty as, officials said, they are also being told to report two hours later than originally scheduled.
For more information, members of the public are asked to contact the court system by visiting courts.phila.gov.
