Philadelphia police car damaged after officers respond to illegal car meetup

A police vehicle was damaged after officers responded to an illegal car meetup in Philadelphia’s Juniata neighborhood, officials said.

According to police, the incident happened near G Street and Ramona Avenue around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 21, 2026.

Police said officers were responding to break up the illegal car meetup when one of the vehicles struck a police car.

No injuries were reported and no arrests were made, police said.
