Person hit by SEPTA train, killed in Bucks County on Wednesday, officials say
A person was killed after being hit by a SEPTA train between stations in Bucks County on Wednesday night, according to the transit agency.
The incident unfolded just before 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 7 when a train on the West Trenton Line hit a person who was near the tracks between the Langhorne and Neshaminy Falls stations, officials said.
The person was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a SEPTA spokesperson.
No one on the train was hurt when the crash happened, officials reported.
A shuttle bus was offered to help the SEPTA passengers on board with their commute, officials said.
Service along the West Trenton Line has been suspended between the stations.
