Panthers visit President Trump at White House to celebrate 2025 Stanley Cup
The Florida Panthers are returned to the White House Thursday to celebrate the team’s back-to-back Stanley Cup Championships.
President Donald Trump welcomed the team for the 2025 Cup celebration, a little less than a year after he hosted the Cats to celebrate their 2024 win.
Last year, Trump admired head coach Paul Maurice’s Stanley Cup ring, sang the praises of captain Alexsander Barkov, and made goalie Sergei Bobrovski’s case for the Hockey Hall of Fame.
The tradition of championship winning sports teams visiting the White House dates back decades.
