Over $4 million worth of cocaine seized at port in Puerto Rico: Officials

A cargo inspection at a port in Puerto Rico on Monday resulted in the seizure of over $4 million worth of cocaine, officials said.
According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, 365 pounds of cocaine were seized at the Port of San Juan.
USCBP said officers with the Anti-Terrorism Contraband Enforcement Team picked a container to inspect and found eight duffel bags that were hidden among pallets.
During the search of the bags, officers found 149 brick-shaped objects that tested positive for cocaine.
“Yesterday, our dedicated U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers have once again demonstrated their commitment to safeguarding our Caribbean Border by interdicting a significant load of narcotics,” said Director of Field Operations for Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands Roberto Vaquero in a statement.
