NJ man admits to having child porn after telling woman to molest child, police say
A New Jersey man pleaded guilty to having and sharing child sexual abuse materials after he allegedly told a Berkeley Township woman to touch a child in, what police called, an “in appropriate manner” and to send him photos.
On Wednesday, Dec. 17, Logan Oliveira, 23, of Toms River, pleaded guilty to charges of possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material. Prosecutors said they expect Oliveira to serve five years in prison and a lifetime of supervised parole at his upcoming sentencing hearing.
He will also need to register at a Megan’s Law offender.

Officials said Oliveira was arrested earlier this year after the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Squad identified a phone number belonging to Oliveira as having distributed images of child pornography.
Further, officials said, investigators determined that Oliveira was, allegedly, sharing this illicit information, often with a cell phone number belonging to 20-year-old Julianna Goldstein of Berkeley Township, who has also been charged in this incident.
Police claim Oliveira sent Goldstein nude images of children and instructed her to touch a child “in an inappropriate manner” and then send him photos of the inappropriate touching.
On April 29, 2025, Oliveira was apprehended at his Toms River residence when police executed a search warrant and discovered child pornography on several electronic devices that belonged to him.
That same day, officials said, a search warrant was executed at Goldstein’s Berkeley Township home and, officials claim, investigators found child pornography on devices belonging to her in the home, as well.
At that time, police said, Goldstein was charged with having and sharing child sexual abuse materials along with manufacturing child pornography and other offenses.
She has been arrested and subsequently released with charges pending, police said.
