New rooftop web cam offers live views of this popular beach area

OCEANSIDE, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — Locals and visitors can now take in one of North County’s most stunning coastal views anytime, thanks to a new San Diego Web Cam installed atop The Rooftop Bar at Mission Pacific Beach Resort.

Perched high above the shoreline, the live camera offers a sweeping, real-time look at the Oceanside Pier and nearby surf break — capturing beach conditions, sunsets and coastal life 24 hours a day.

As the only rooftop camera vantage point in the area, the feed provides a unique perspective for weather updates, surf reports and scenic coverage.

The new web cam is part of an ongoing effort to highlight San Diego County’s coastal communities and give residents a window into real-time beach conditions.
