An elderly Montgomery County man is accused of soliciting an underage girl for sex as well as pictures of her feet.

Dennis Reilly, 76, of Hatboro, Pennsylvania, is charged with trafficking in individuals – recruit/entice/solicit, unlawful contact with a minor, criminal solicitation – statutory sexual assault, criminal use of a communications facility and other related offenses.

The investigation began on Feb. 26, 2026, when a man and woman arrived at the Hatboro Police Station to report a concerning interaction between a 15-year-old girl and a man.

The man and woman told investigators the teen girl was walking her dog with her younger sister when a man – who police later identified as Dennis Reilly – approached the girls and offered them $100 each for pictures of their feet, officials said.

Reilly then sent the 15-year-old girl multiple text messages, asking for more photos of her feet, according to investigators.

The man and woman gave the teen’s cellphone to a Hatboro detective who reviewed the text messages. The detective then began texting Reilly, pretending to be the 15-year-old girl, investigators said. Reilly asked to meet the girl for sex in exchange for $300, according to police.

Reilly then agreed to meet the girl at the Wawa on South York Road in Hatboro at a scheduled time that same day, investigators said. Reilly said they would drive to his home for sex and that he would use a “rubber,” according to investigators.

Reilly arrived at the Hatboro Wawa later that same day and was met by Hatboro Police who took his cellphone, officials said.

Reilly was then arrested the next day and remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility. His bail was later set at $99,000 cash following a hearing on Monday, March 2.

Reilly’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 12, 2026, at 11 a.m. Online court records don’t list an attorney who could speak on his behalf.
