Midweek lake-effect rain

Another cold front clears the region with limited moisture, perhaps just a few showers, and allows chilly air to deepen by midweek. That will trigger a localized band of lake effect rain that will set up close to the Buffalo metro along with some moderate to heavy downpours.
The wind direction shifts Thursday-Friday which will produce a greater chance of showers south and perhaps north of the metro.
