Miami-Dade County Youth Fair 2026: What to know about tickets, parking, rides and more

The Miami-Dade County Youth Fair and Exposition is back in all its glory for its 74th year, meaning rides, food and family fun are all just a ticket away.

The Fair’s gates officially open Thursday at 4 p.m., but you have three weeks to participate in the magic of this South Florida staple, including 87 rides, animal encounters, special eats and one-day only events.

Here’s what to know as you get into this year’s theme: “Wild About the Fair.”

When and where is the Youth Fair?

The Youth Fair is open from March 12 through April 5, 2026, except on March 16, 17, 30, and 31.

It’s located at 10901 SW 24th Street, Miami, FL 33165.

How much are tickets to the Youth Fair?

First thing’s first: rides and admission must be purchased separately.

Admission costs $17.50 for one-time entry if you purchase online, or $18 on site. But the cheapest place to get tickets is at Sedano’s supermarkets, where you can purchase for $14.

A season pass is $38.25.

As far as rides go, you can purchase an unlimited ride wristband for $37 at Sedano’s, $44.50 online, or up to $47 on site, for one day only.

Children under 5 years old and adults over 65 get in free.

You can also get discounted admission and ride tickets, including:

  • $5 Days (March 12, 18 & April 1) – Guests enjoy $5 admission, $5 select food items and $5 off the regular on-grounds Unlimited Rides price all day. Valid March 12, March 18, & April 1.
  • Half Off Regular Admission Before 6 PM (Valid Monday-Friday) – Excludes $5 Days (March 12, March 18, & April 1). Coupon must be printed or presented on mobile device.
  • $6 Deals Before 6 p.m. – $6 deals on select food, games and merchandise. Mondays through Fridays before 6 p.m. Look for the $6 deals sign displayed at participating locations.

And there’s plenty more where those came from. See a whole list of discounted admission and ride tickets here.

What to do at the Youth Fair

There’s no shortage of things to do at the Youth Fair, from rides and attractions to games and food, there’s something for everyone.

Ride areas are separated into three groups: Majorland, Kiddieland and Kiddieland Too, so you’ll know the thrill you’re signing up for.

And if the rides aren’t your thing, have no fear. The Fair says you can “indulge in all your favorite fair foods” at over 150 food stands, or compete in a carnival game to win prizes.

This year, in line with the Fair’s theme, you can also join an animatronic safari experience, animal encounters, live music and more.

Safety at the Youth Fair

Officials says bags will be searched and all guests will walk through metal detectors before entering the fairgrounds. Guests 17 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or chaperone that’s at least 21 year old when entering after 5 p.m.

Items not allowed at the Fair include:

  • outside food and beverages
  • alcohol/drugs
  • animals and pets, not including service animals
  • weapons
  • coolers
  • bicycles/skateboards/rollerblades/hoverboards
  • selfie sticks
  • drones
  • masks or face coverings
