Men armed with hatchets wanted after allegedly robbing Del. smoke shop
Officials are searching for two men who were allegedly armed with hatchets when they robbed a smoke shop in Delaware on Tuesday, according to state police.
The robbery happened around 10 p.m. on Jan. 27 at the New York Smoke Shop located on the 3100 block of North Dupont Highway, troopers said.
Investigators explained that two men allegedly had hatchets on them when they walked into the store and forced the worker to open the register.
The two suspects were allegedly able to get away with cash and tobacco products, police said. They were last seen wearing dark-colored clothes, face coverings and gloves.
