Man's body found in Norristown trash can, police say
Police are investigating after, officials said, the body of a man in his 40s was discovered in a trash can in Norristown on Monday night.
According to police, the man’s body was found in a trash can along the the Schuylkill River Trail off of Haws Avenue in Norristown at about 7 p.m. on Monday.
Officials said, in a Tuesday morning update that the man was unhoused and is undocumented.
However, police did not immediately provide further information on the identity of the man whose remains were discovered, the condition they were in or how he may have died.
But, officials said, an investigation into the death is ongoing.
