Man tried to lure 13-year-old girl into pickup truck in Upper Darby, police say
A man is facing charges after he tried to lure a 13-year-old girl into his white Dodge Ram pickup truck in Upper Darby on Monday, Dec. 29, police said.
According to police, the incident happened at the 8200 block of West Chester Pike when a man approached the girl as she was walking and tried to coerce her into his truck.
The girl refused the man and then sought help at a nearby business, police said. A witness then confronted the man, who then left the area.
Police said they were able to locate the man and take him into custody. He now faces criminal charges, but his identity was not immediately available.
