Man struck in face, stabbed during carjacking in Philadelphia; 3 suspects sought

A 54-year-old man is hospitalized after police said he was struck in the face and stabbed during a carjacking in Philadelphia.
According to the Philadelphia Police Department, on Thursday, October 16, 2025, around 9:41 p.m., officers responded to a carjacking on the 4300 block of Frankford Avenue.
Police said an investigation revealed that three suspects exited a Ford F-150 and approached a 54-year-old man, striking him in the face and stabbing him in the torso.
The suspects then fled in the Ford F-150, taking the man’s gray Acura with Pennsylvania license plate #LBT-3455, according to police.
Police said the man was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
