However, the woman told police that she believed to have struck a carpet, near the intersection of 35th and Grays Ferry Avenue, and continued on to Woodland Avenue before stopping at a parking lot where, officials said, the man’s body became dislodged from the vehicle.

SkyForce10 was over the scene to find police investigating near a car stopped on the sidewalk outside of a Popeyes.

Police said the driver remained at the scene and the incident is under investigation.

Investigators now believe the man may have been laying in the roadway before the collision occurred and he may have been hit by another vehicle before being hit by the 2010 Hyundai.

No charges have been filed and no arrests have been made, as police said, an investigation into this incident remains ongoing.
