Man kills brother during fight over money in Philly shopping center, police say
A man was shot and killed by his brother in a shopping center in the Eastwick neighborhood of Philadelphia on Wednesday evening, Philadelphia Police Inspector DF Pace told NBC10.
According to Pace, the deadly shooting occurred at the 2900 block of Island Avenue, and a man is in custody.
Investigators believe two brothers got into a confrontation over money before one shot the other, killing him, Pace explained.
Officers with the Philadelphia Police Department were already in the shopping center and heard the gunshots so they were able to quickly arrest the alleged shooter, Pace said.
The brother who was shot was taken to a nearby hospital where he died, according to Pace.
SkyForce10 was over the scene to find police focusing on a car in the parking lot of the Penrose Plaza Shopping Center, near the Fine Wine and Good Spirits.

No other information on the shooting was immediately available, but NBC10 is working to learn more.
