Man in blue gloves carrying screwdriver wanted for NJ home burglary, police say

Police in South Jersey are searching for a person who is accused of burglarizing a home and trying to rob two others on New Year’s Eve, according to the Washington Township Police Department.

The burglaries happened between 7 and 9 p.m. on Dec. 31 in the Herritage Valley section of Washington Township near Freedom Road, Valley Run Drive and the Constitution Road area, police explained.

A home’s Ring camera captured the moments that the suspect climbed up onto the air conditioning unit in order to unplug the device, according to police.

The suspect is described as wearing dark clothing, a balaclava-style face mask, blue gloves and was holding a screwdriver, police said.
