Man discovered by ex-wife in pool of blood at Rolando home, San Diego police say
San Diego police homicide detectives were investigating Friday the grisly death of a 46-year-old man at a home in Rolando.
A 911 caller told police around 4 p.m. Thursday she found her ex-husband dead in a pool of blood at the home in the 3800 block of Loma Alta Drive, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The man wasn’t breathing or responding, and paramedics declared him dead shortly after their arrival. His name has not yet been disclosed.
SDPD’s Homicide detectives took over the investigation “given the circumstances, and in an abundance of caution,” police said. The cause and manner of death are still not known and are being determined in coordination with the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.
